Something Odd

There were two socks hanging on the line for which I could find no mate.  I checked in sleeves and pant legs, not there.  Nowhere on the ground, in the basket nor in the machine.  How can this be?  Ruminating, I come to wonder, is it possible that I wore not-a-pair of socks?  Checking my dresser—there was indeed another not-a-pair!  They are all navy and have those “silver toes” but still, one has a pattern and a scalloped edge whereas the other is plain.

not a pair

Rest assured, they have now been properly re-mated.

About djdfr

Daily life experiences by a Franco-American woman living in the Breton countryside form the basics of this blog. Gardening, watercolour, choral music, food, are some of my interests. I seek to balance the physical, mental and spiritual. I am a free believer praying from the Bible, the Qur’an and The Revelation of Arès. In 1974, with Jesus as the messenger, and in 1977, manifesting as a stick of light, Our Creator spoke directly to a man in Arès, France, named Michel Potay. The message is in the book “The Revelation of Arès”. It is a call for us to change, to practice love, peacemaking, forgiveness, to free ourselves from all prejudice, to develop our spiritual intelligence, the intelligence of the heart.

You must have been in a hurry while mating them and was sure that they were proper pairs so didnt check while waring them . 🙂

Hasn’t your washing machine ever been hungry for socks before?
