Happy Thanksgiving (now with photos)

I am grateful for the spark of divine within that permits us to develop our spiritual nature. It is what makes us something more than a thinking animal. It is what can enable us to change the world, to recreate Eden. We can spread Good by practicing love, forgiveness, peacemaking, freeing ourselves from all prejudice and judgment, developing our spiritual intelligence.

I am grateful that the Creator once again spoke to a man to remind us that is the way to happiness. (The Revelation of Arès)

Meanwhile on the kitchen front, it is a puzzle with some pieces missing. The French do turkeys for Christmas so there are no respectable sized ones available at the moment. I got two whites and a leg and will bake them on top of dressing. We’ll see…..

*****

The leg turned out to be another white piece!

...as it came out of the oven...

…as it came out of the oven…

...my plate...

…my plate…

My sister gave me the perfect tip for gravy–dried mushrooms.  I didn’t know what to do without drippings or giblets.

About djdfr

Daily life experiences by a Franco-American woman living in the Breton countryside form the basics of this blog. Gardening, watercolour, choral music, food, are some of my interests. I seek to balance the physical, mental and spiritual. I am a free believer praying from the Bible, the Qur’an and The Revelation of Arès. In 1974, with Jesus as the messenger, and in 1977, manifesting as a stick of light, Our Creator spoke directly to a man in Arès, France, named Michel Potay. The message is in the book “The Revelation of Arès”. It is a call for us to change, to practice love, peacemaking, forgiveness, to free ourselves from all prejudice, to develop our spiritual intelligence, the intelligence of the heart.
