Pansies, Grass and a Mushroom
We had our first frost on Saturday morning. There was still one geranium outside that I wanted to put in the greenhouse. I bought the pansies yesterday and planted them this morning. At lunch time there was a big bumblebee working on them. Immediate appreciation! And the geranium found its winter quarters.
Last night I dreamed we were looking for construction materials and this was all we could find, dead stems of grass. There just wasn’t anything else. I hope this does not represent the human race because I would like to build a better world that would be solidly rooted in love, peace, equity, creativity. Even if it does, I would still have hope though, because our Creator sends His Water and growth bursts forth. Maybe it’s up to us to use the watering can? Open our mouths?
“Allah sends down water from the sky, and with it gives life to the land after it has been dead (this Qur’an is being sent to serve the same purpose). Surely in this example there is a sign for those who listen.”
“Here is where I am: My Word flows as a river through the steppes anew,
It cuts its course in the frozen lands
where I have aroused rugged men,
men who could no longer know Me by the masks fashioned for (obscuring) Me,
men whom the mighty and merchants, princes and priests, have led to lose faith and righteousness.”
“Your brothers drink the Strong Water. (From) the(ir) lip(s) the torrents flow; the thirsty brothers drink.”
