Random Thoughts and Notes – Oct. 23, 2008

I am very happy to have put on the undercoat on the second half of our bedroom.

Do you think a crocheting grandmother might be dangerous? Unbalanced ?  A terrorist ?

We had our first frost yesterday.  I should bring in the squash and put the geraniums in the greenhouse.

Normally when you do something good, you feel good.  So why are those who come back from war traumatized?  When will we have peace training?  I am shocked now as I remember even in Vacation Bible School we had the reds against the blues.

What I had for lunch: a can of mackerel in mustard sauce, some leftover potatoes, some tomatoes, two pieces of toast (my homemade bread) spread with mayonnaise, a glass of bubbly mineral water and a glass of red wine, followed by 20 grams of Lindt 85%.  According to the color method, I am lacking in blues and greens.  They are the colors I use the most when painting.  But I think the eyes nourish a different part of me than the stomach.

About djdfr

Daily life experiences by a Franco-American woman living in the Breton countryside form the basics of this blog. Gardening, watercolour, choral music, food, are some of my interests. I seek to balance the physical, mental and spiritual. I am a free believer praying from the Bible, the Qur’an and The Revelation of Arès. In 1974, with Jesus as the messenger, and in 1977, manifesting as a stick of light, Our Creator spoke directly to a man in Arès, France, named Michel Potay. The message is in the book “The Revelation of Arès”. It is a call for us to change, to practice love, peacemaking, forgiveness, to free ourselves from all prejudice, to develop our spiritual intelligence, the intelligence of the heart.
