The End?

Did you ever want to end it all?  Many seem to think that if they kill themselves all their problems will be over.  However, we are more than just our body; we are body, mind and soul.  We only get this one body and if we do away with it, how are we going to do good?  It is by doing good that we build our soul.  It is through the soul that our Creator can nourish us and help us rise.

I feel like practically screaming everywhere “The death of the body is not the end !”  You’ll only make things more difficult for yourself and it is irrevocable.  We do not have the power to resurrect ourselves.  We do have the power to change, to change ourselves and influence all that surrounds us.

I am speaking to the living — it is too late for those who have crossed over as did a member of our extended family this past week.  Not only are his problems not over, but his loved ones will be marked and hurting from this for a very long time.  All I can do for him is to dedicate good deeds to him so that an angel will carry light to him.

For members of his family, it was a terrible ordeal to make the trip for the funeral, due to violence in their country and administrative mediocrity, maybe even downright evil.  What do you think of the fact that if you have visited a certain country, other countries won’t let you visit them?  Is that loving your neighbour?

How can we possibly believe that peace can come through war?  War only feeds the never ending cycle of revenge.

I pray that I will be aware, that I will respond with love and encouragement to anyone around me that is suffering.  I pray that I will not make anyone feel like shit, that I will encourage them to be the best they can, with their own unique possibilities.

“Shout everywhere, ‘Earthly life is short ; happiness is not measured in years, it is measured in eternity; every man barely has time to repent, for the regrets of the specter only add torments to its torments ! Listen to the Word That I received and be saved !’ ”  The Revelation of Arès 36/23

About djdfr

Daily life experiences by a Franco-American woman living in the Breton countryside form the basics of this blog. Gardening, watercolour, choral music, food, are some of my interests. I seek to balance the physical, mental and spiritual. I am a free believer praying from the Bible, the Qur’an and The Revelation of Arès. In 1974, with Jesus as the messenger, and in 1977, manifesting as a stick of light, Our Creator spoke directly to a man in Arès, France, named Michel Potay. The message is in the book “The Revelation of Arès”. It is a call for us to change, to practice love, peacemaking, forgiveness, to free ourselves from all prejudice, to develop our spiritual intelligence, the intelligence of the heart.
